Ruminations
By Carl Scharwath
In the quiet of the night, when the world is still and the only sound is a gentle hum from the stars above, I feel the weight of my thoughts, a fleeting flash, a memory to cherish. In this moment-floating in a wild river swift and unyielding, carrying my reflections both sweet and bitter. I begin to navigate the currents of my own mind.
Wandering, a seeker of truth and beauty
Forever searching for a meaning
In a world that seems senseless.
Both lost and found adrift
In the sea of consciousness
Knowing there is peace in the odyssey.
In the stillness of the night
We are reminded of the infinite
Possibilities that lie before us
Navigating the currents
Of my mind and seeking
The greatest journey to explore.
The boundless potential
That each of us share
Awaiting only the courage to embrace.
