Phyllis Gobbell

Phyllis Gobbell has three books in the Jordan Mayfair Mystery Series. The most recent, Treachery in Tuscany (Encircle, 2018), follows Secrets and Shamrocks (Five Star, 2016) and Pursuit in Provence (Five Star, 2015). She co-authored An Unfinished Canvas and A Season of Darkness, based on high-profile murders in Nashville. She wrote “Lost Innocence” for the anthology, Masters of True Crime, a narrative that is now an audiobook. Gobbell has received awards in both fiction and nonfiction, including Tennessee’s Individual Artist Literary Award. An associate professor at NSCC, she teaches literature, composition, and creative writing.
