Lynn Slaughter

After a long career as a professional dancer and dance educator, Lynn Slaughter earned her MFA in Popular Writing from Seton Hill University. She is the author of It Should Have Been You, a 2019 finalist for Killer Nashville’s Silver Falchion Award in the juvenile/young adult category, as well as While I Danced, a 2015 Young Reader’s EPIC finalist. Her short story, “Missed Cue,” will appear in Malice Domestic’s 2020 anthology, Murder Most Theatrical. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky where she is at work on her next novel.
