Kerry Peresta

Kerry Peresta’s background in advertising, copywriting and account management gave her plenty of fuel to write stories about thorny and psychologically fascinating relationships. Her writing career began in 2008 as a humor columnist, (“The Lighter Side,” 2008-2010) and she began writing fiction in 2010. Her first suspense novel,“The Hunting,” released in 2013 and her second is scheduled to release fall 2019.

Kerry is past chapter president of Maryland Writers’ Association and a current member of Hilton Head Island Writer’s Group. She has worked as an editor and contributor with Island Communications Publishing and her articles have appeared in Bluffton Breeze magazine, Lady Lowcountry magazine, online magazine, and she is a frequent blog contributor. When not working on her next book, she accepts free-lance editing projects.

Kerry has four grown kids, two cats, a perpetually young-at-heart husband and a whole bushel of grandkids who call her Gigi. A resident of Hilton Head Island, SC since 2015, she is a huge fan of the Lowcountry. Kerry is a member of Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America. Learn more at
