JIM DOHERTY has served American law enforcement at the federal, state, and local levels, policing everything from inner city streets to rural dirt roads, from urban railroad yards to suburban parks, from military bases to college campuses. He is the author of the true-crime collection JUST THE FACTS (which included the Spur-award winning article “Blood for Oil”); AN OBSCURE GRAVE, a police procedural featuring part-time cop and UC undergrad Dan Sullivan, which was a finalist for both a CWA Dagger and a Killer Nashville Silver Falchion. Upcoming are a collection of Sullivan short stories, and a mash-up of Jane Austen and Captain America, THE ADVENTURES OF COL. BRITANNIA, in which Capt. Wentworth is reimagined as Britain’s super-soldier.
